skizze1You can find our  “Nest”, a restored country house,  2 km west of the city of Atri (350 m above sea level) in a WWF protected area called “Riserva naturale dei Calanchi di Atri“. Atri is in the province of Teramo which belongs to the region of Abruzzo. The capital of this region, Pescara, is on the Adriatic Sea at about the same latitude as Rome, half way down in Italy.

How to get there

Ryanair flies direct from Stansted and Liverpool to Ancona, which is an hour by car from Atri, and from Stansted to Pescara, which is only 40 minutes away.
We are 15 minutes by car from the Pineto / Atri exit from the A14 Bologna – Bari motorway. Follow signs to Atri and then to the “Riserva Naturale dei Calanchi di Atri“. At the WWF information centre ("Centro visite"), continue for about half a mile on the unmade road down the hill to the right, the "Strada Brecciara“.
